Flowers

Hello Friends,

Let's have a look at some flower images and let's see what they bring into our minds. Flowers are the most beautiful things on Earth. Here is my learning outcome and some observations after visiting a flower nursery on 4 January, 2022 Tuesday. Yes, of course, we can learn many things from flowers, plants and nature around us.

This is a double shaded rose also known as double delight or scented rose. As per its name, this rose has a perfume like a sweet fragrance.

This is looking so beautiful as a garland. These are sevanti flowers that are available in many colours and varieties. All of them look so beautiful when kept together. It's like Heaven on Earth.

A red and white rose, both have their own story to tell. They bloom on a special day, for a special reason, for a special person, at a special time, in a special season, at a special place. It seems as if they are very happy and smiling at you and me.

These are another bunch of colour beautiful flowers. They included almost all the colours of the rainbow. Now no need to wait for rains and a rainbow when we are getting the natural beauty and joy of colours on Earth in these colourful flowers. The joy they bring is immense, they add colours to our monotonous life. They add sparkle to our lives and make us shine and smile like they are.

The roses are royal flowers, Queen of all the flowers. It's great to find all the colourful flowers in one place. It's a joy but for that, these plants need lots of love and care like children. They need fertilisers, proper care and nutrition like humans. As a result, we can see and admire the beauty of a rose as above.

This is another beautiful double coloured rose. These types of roses are rare and they look so gorgeous due to their double colours. They have very soft petals. It's a special rose, unique and different from all other roses.

This rose has a sweet way to bloom which makes us realise that Nature can do wonders and nature is the best artist.

This is a pretty pink rose and its colour is similar to our rose milk that is made using milk and rose drink. This little cute rose can win anyone's heart and bring joy and cheers to our mood.

Green leaves and white roses, such a beautiful combination. Today floral print is in great demand, not only but always. Clothes with floral print have special importance and are more costly and many would prefer to have them. Today floral designs are also very much used in wallpapers and in many other things.

This is a big, beautiful Dahlia flower. It's available in many colours. It has a unique shape, petals and makes it the most lovable flower among all. Flowers are what makes our surroundings so beautiful and colourful. If one doesn't know all these flowers then one is really missing something important in life despite many other achievements. So, dear friends don't miss to look at the flowers, listen to what they say with their silence. There is a lot to learn from these little soft, delicate, colourful beauties. They make life easier, eases the pain, brings glory, add joy and victory. They symbolise all good things and tidings in life.

These little lavender flowers are tiny little wonders. They tell that even little things day in and out matter a lot. Little steps are equally important. Small flowers together make a beautiful bunch of flowers, just as every single day together makes a year.

These plants are known as Asparagus Merry. They are all green, no flowers, cone-shaped tiny little trees. They look as green as grass.

Beautiful Christmas tree decorated with a red star and other ornaments. Christmas tree is an inevitable part of Christmas celebrations.

This is a bonsai orange plant, known for mini oranges. These are like tiny candies. A small plant full of orange oranges.

This is a star fruit plant. As its name, it is known for its star-shaped fruit. It's good to get many different species of plants in one place. To get such fruit plants (saplings) is a very good thing. Apart from flower plants, fruit trees are also equally important.

This is a hybrid hibiscus flower that comes in many fluorescent colours. A garden is incomplete without flowers. Those colours add a touch of beauty, glitter, sparkle, shine to anyone's garden. These are just a few varieties but there are innumerable varieties of flowers found all over the world. They need to be taken care of to get colourful, smiling, and happy flowers.

Hope this blog inspires many to visit a plant nursery nearby you and develop a special love for plants, flowers and nature. It's a joy to see the little plants growing and coming of buds, them blooming. All these teach us that

"Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished."

Thank you.

Rape of the Lock-Alexander Pope

Hello Friends,  This blog is my response to the task assigned to us by our teacher VaidehiMa'am. So read and enjoy.              The Rape of the Lock is a mock-heroic narrative poem  written by Alexander Pope. One of the most commonly cited examples of high burlesque, it was first published anonymously in Lintot's Miscellaneous Poems and Translations (May 1712) in two cantos  (334 lines); a revised edition "Written by Mr. Pope" followed in March 1714 as a five-canto version (794 lines) accompanied by six engravings. Pope boasted that this sold more than three thousand copies in its first four days.[2] The final form of the poem appeared in 1717 with the addition of Clarissa's speech on good humour. The poem was much translated and contributed to the growing popularity of mock-heroic in Europe.    In the beginning of this mock-epic, Pope declares that a "dire offence" (Canto 1 line 1) has been committed. A lord has assaulted a "gentle belle" (
