If you have to write a fan-fiction, how would you move ahead with the ending of this novel or what sort of change yo u would bring at the end of the novel? A-1  According to me the ending of the novel would be something different than it already is. I would like a Happy Love Marriage of Gopal and Aarti. And Aarti would bring Gopal on the right path through her love. And Raghav will love another girl and will happily marry her. So, in the end, there will be a true revolution in the life of all the characters. Aarti comes back to her true love that is Gopal even after a long relationship with Raghav. Gopal coming back on the path of honesty leaving all the corrupt ways and means although it may take 5 ...

Translation Workshop: Learning Outcome

Hello Friends, This blog is my response to the task assigned to us by our Prof. Dr. Dilip Sir in thinking activity on the translation workshop which was organized in our department on 3rd January 2022 Monday and the guest speaker of this workshop was Dr. Vishal Bhadani. So here are answers to some questions and my learning outcome in those answers.  Q-1 Has your understanding of translation improved? A-1 Yes, There is lots of improvement in my understanding of translation. At first, it seemed to me that translation is very easy. Initially, some sentences and words are easy but as we go deeper then come to the challenges, then we realize that translation is not as easy as a jam sandwich. It needs lots of practice. Rightly said, " Practice makes a man perfect" So, translation needs lots of practice like Mathematics. It's more of Passion, Patience, Perseverance, Planning, Practice, Positivity, Persistence, Pondering, and much more.  One needs to have knowledge of various di...

Flowers

Hello Friends,  Let's have a look at some flower images and let's see what they bring into our minds. Flowers are the most beautiful things on Earth. Here is my learning outcome and some observations after visiting a flower nursery on 4 January, 2022 Tuesday. Yes, of course, we can learn many things from flowers, plants and nature around us.  This is a double shaded rose also known as double delight or scented rose. As per its name, this rose has a perfume like a sweet fragrance.  This is looking so beautiful as a garland. These are sevanti flowers that are available in many colours and varieties. All of them look so beautiful when kept together. It's like Heaven on Earth. A red and white rose, both have their own story to tell. They bloom on a special day, for a special reason, for a special person, at a special time, in a special season, at a special place. It seems as if they are very happy and smiling at you and me. These are another bunch of colour beautiful flowers....

Study of Poems

Hello Friends,  This is blog is my response to the task assigned to us by our teacher Yesha Ma'am on Study of Poems of the African Literature. THEMES IN THE POEM VULTURES BY CHINUA ACHEBE Popularity of “Vultures”: “Vultures” by Chinua Achebe, a Nigerian poet, is a beautiful piece of poetry. The poem first appeared in 1971 in Collected Poems. The poem obliquely presents the stark reality of colonialism and its impacts on the locals. The beauty of the poem, however, lies in its metaphor of vulture that feeds on dead bodies and still loves each other amid the ruins. “Vultures” As a Representative of Colonial Mindset and its Predatory Tactics:  Chinua Achebe presents a vulture sitting on a dead tree looking despondently in the rain with greyness in the atmosphere. It is sitting close to another vulture, showing love with each other having bald heads as if pebbles in the grass. Yesterday, they had had their fill with a swollen-eyed ...

Struggles of Transgender

Struggles of Transgender in Arundhati Roy's novel, The Ministry of the Utmost Happiness Abstract Arundhati Roy's 2017 novel The Ministry of the Utmost Happiness deals with several issues. This paper analyzes the struggles of transgender, as observed in the novel with the character of Anjum, a transgender. This paper tells how the first person to accept the child is mother, father, and then comes the society. But in most of the transgender cases, children are neglected by their own family first and then the society. So, in this way the third gender becomes "Other", the marginalized, subaltern, colonized in one way or the other. It's very difficult for humans to survive when being neglected by one's own parents or forced by them to follow some basic laws of society. This is the sad reality of contemporary society. Here literature has become the true mirror of the society that shows the real picture. The role of the writer is to bring into light the problems, pai...
